Hi
I am looking for some very comfortable slippers for my aging father who is now at Cottonwoods. He has swollen ankles and the slippers who used to wear do not fit well.
We are looking for some advise as to what best options you have available.
He likes to walk with his walker everyday and would need good traction and support.
Thanks,
Joe Zucchi
Hello Joe
Excuse my very late reply, I missed the notification. Best would be to come into the business and we can show you what we would have for him. Due to the swollen ankles I would probably lean towards the Podowell, that without having seen your father. There may be other options depending on how severe the swelling is and if they are swollen the same constantly or if it changes by day time.
You would be able to try things at Cottonwood, should he not be able to come to us due to mobility issues. It would be of great help in a case like this to take a legal size sheet of paper and trace his foot. Try to keep the pen straight. That gives us at least a starting point. For further questions please call in the business 250 762 6228
With best regards Iris
